toll. pixelfed doesn't send me a confirmation email, and I can't get it to send me another one and I can't access their support site because ANY LINK on pixelfed redirects me to the page where they ask me to confirm my email adress.
yes I'd like to but I haven't received one, d'uh!
lets see if complaining on social media solves the problem.

@leah it was the instance.. i tried pxlfd.me and still there's nothing, now I tried pixelfed.de and the confirmation mail arrived in a second.
still no email from the pixelfed instance I tried to register yesterday, now I opened an account on pixelfed.de and I'm not sure if that's a good instance, how do you all pick your instances?

I guess it's all still so new that no one put in any info yet... I can't follow other people on pixelfed yet, I guess it's because federation doesn't work right now...
so it is not urgent at all.

@distel Since I just wanted to see the thing at work (as far as it works up to now), I chose one of the instances mentioned by @pixelfed themself in a toot a few days ago ... at random, more or less. Might easily jump to another one once it lifts off the ground, maybe if people start topic-driven instances.
@juni are you able to follow other people on other pixelfed instances?
@distel I have not yet figured out how to even see the timelines of instances without having an account there. Guess it is not intended at the moment.

@distel you have to click on this big blue button to get the mail. It isn't send automatically as nearly everyone would have assumed I've talked to.
