it's the middle of my nobuy year and we got into a discussion about fountain pens, and I started to crave one that we spoke about...
turns out that a used one was on offer on ebay, and the seller is in my city quite close to me, and if all goes well it will be my birthday present to myself this year.
I don't know, I feel like I want to buy stuff, lately. I don't regret this one fail, after all it's really my birhtday on the weekend.
but I need to be a bit cautious now.
@distel Sympathies and still,... good on you for finding something second hand with which to treat yourself!
(And, slightly early - happy birthday!)
@distel happy birthday! 🎂 🎉
it's funny how that urge can come back just when you think you're free of it. "oh hey I only buy things I know I need now, and I know I definitely need this thing that I just saw just now."
I'm often impressed with people who can manage nobuy. My buyless project has its ups and downs.. I'm a periodic buyer..
The question I haven't seen yet.. What pen is it?
@openess it is a twsbi diamond demonstrator pen with aluminium and a really nice tip.
Sounds really nice. Please share a picture or two if you want to when you've got it 🖋️🙂
I have a TWSBI Mini that I love, and the nib is awesome. I should consider selling a few pens on ebay, but it's a hassle. I honestly have too many fountain pens, and there are a handful that I use, and the rest sit in a box. Some were quite inexpensive so I'd rather donate them if anyone wants to try out fountain-pen use without spending money.
@distel You can do this! 💪
Also: Really good choice for a fountain pen!
