@Siphonay wow, this means I might already have dropped out of uni before @dzuk was *born*, and yet things have really not got any better in the European higher education system after that time, thats some indictment on society TBH...

@vfrmedia @Siphonay I think all of formal education is mostly fucked tbh.

If you're not into maths/sciences/the kind of stuff that actually requires a qualification to demonstrate knowledge/skill and you're into weird alternative media / uncharted territory like I constantly was, you just get constantly told what you want to do doesn't matter and nobody actually teaches you anything you couldn't do with an internet connection and a little spare cash.

@vfrmedia @Siphonay and in fact less than that because they don't teach you squat, they just give you little tasks to do, which anyone could do by themselves, no insight, no worthwhile skill transference, nothing that people were already doing for free or for cheap on the internet.
