I considered watching VICE's Gaycation series via All 4 so I could give one of my cats company last week (because it sits in a room with nothing but an Apple TV) but I'm actually kinda scared/wary of TV now? (Also the inability to block ads.)
Like, the idea of watching a TV show to me is like 'do I risk potentially exposing myself to a cringe-inducing experience because the way TV show formats exists feel so disconnected to reality now?'
I'd rather just tune out to someone's Twitch stream.
FYI: not slamming people who enjoy that sort of stuff for various reasons. I'm just so disconnected to that that it's not just no longer my thing anymore but I'm *really* alienated by it, which wouldn't have been the case last decade so I'm kinda weirded out and curious about what happened.
A community that skews thoughtful and weird. Everyone who abides by the code of conduct is welcome, thoughtful weirdos most of all! :)
