the auto-steering and auto-accelerate options in mario kart 8 make it so that my toddler can enjoy playing mario kart with her grownups. one of the switch's joycons is the perfect size for her hands.

auto-steering does the minimum to keep the kart on the track. you can still manually steer with the auto setting on. auto-accelerate means not needing to hold down a button to go forward, which is actually a nice setting for people with #ChronicPain hands like me
