I hate wearing yellow but also I love glitch clothing/textiles so I kind of want it??

@amphetamine I have no idea, but I'm into it!

ok so more details:

"This isn't a corporate initiative where we're pushing clothing out there," said Loblaw's vice-president Mary MacIssac in an interview. "This is honestly, sincerely us responding to hundreds of thousands of asks to make some of this available."

@linen i live the idea but it doesnt look flattering esp if you don’t like yellow! i feel like something better could be nudged into existence (print on demand stuff is so easy to set up now!)

@ansate yeah that's a good point! most of the print on demand stuff I've seen that actually ships to canada is sort of expensive tho, do you have a place you like?

@linen i like printful in the US but i think art of where might be canadian

@ansate cool, I'll check it out, thanks!

@linen they usually have discount for test pieces, so if it’s your own design/account you can get it cheaper

@linen now i really want to so some stuff with dazzle camo

@ansate that sounds delightfully extra!

@linen I don't even know, but I kind of want that banana shirt

@linen my take is they hired a hip new "millenial savvy" marketing agency that is chasing the absurdist brand stylings of Wendy's and Denny's.

@karyl maybe, but the quote I found was:

"This isn't a corporate initiative where we're pushing clothing out there," said Loblaw's vice-president Mary MacIssac in an interview. "This is honestly, sincerely us responding to hundreds of thousands of asks to make some of this available."

@linen
Well I like the store and I have always liked the branding too (yellow is my fave lol), so that's not too surprising I guess.

It still doesn't explain a stretch Grand Caravan and a 90s Caddy on two wheels in their ad though ;P lol

@karyl I don't think anything about that ad can be explained hahah
