The research was fundamentally flawed and should not be used as evidence that one group is better than the other. It does, however, highlight the problem of biased research that stigmatises everything about us.
My gofundme is slowing down these days with no donations in nearly a week. This is an urgent fundraiser with only 6 months left to get it done. Please share and donate

If you like romance and trans shit, A Lady for a Duke is pretty amazing. Trans main character, and the conflicts in the story have nothing to do with the fact that she's trans. I read it via the library, but it's good enough I wanted to give the author some cash, and have a copy on the shelf.
This #AntiracismSocialSaturday, please only amplify voices of folks who have consented.
So often I see on social media of those boosting voices of folks who did not want to be amplified. Just because someone is part of a group that you want to amplify does not mean that they want to be amplified.
Ask! And if they say no, respect that. Doing a "ask for forgiveness" mindset will cause more harm than you think and is decentering them.
By the way, you know how some of you are deeply unnerved by lists of LGBTQ+ folks in many countries? That feeling of privacy invading, elevated discomfort, and worry about their safety? You're doing a similar thing when you compile lists of BIPOC folks who did not consent.
Anyways, the key thing to note is consent. You can't go wrong with that!
tutoring, boosts welcome!
Hello!
Do you, a friend or a family member want to learn cool math or programming/tech stuff?
Do you have money for an autistic nonbinary person with big dreams and limited cashflow?
You might be in luck! I'm a tutor, a professional learning-helper. I work online and also offline in the bay area. I:
Have been doing this for 15+ years.
Have been called "the best teacher [they've] ever had" by more than one student.
Have a special interest about making learning fun and safe and comfortable for *everyone*, especially students who've struggled with traditional education.
Am more interested in the learning than in being dogmatic about things that don't work for you.
If that sounds good to you, great! I'm looking for students that:
Are comfortable having a tutor with autism (who is sometimes nonspeaking)
Think nonbinary folks are cool
Want to help me create a learning environment that's actually meets everyone's needs, mine and yours alike.
DMs are open. Please feel free to get in touch!
I just started a live stream leaving the Sims 4 unpaused with a house full of occults. It should be going on for the next 5 or 6 hours
Stop by to see the chaos!
I’m so excited! I made Victorian-inspired pockets attached to a waistband (w velcro). Women’s pockets in the 1800s could accommodate everything from gin flasks, telescopes, to botanical maps and sewing accessories‼️
I made my pockets comically large to make a point, so, it fits everything I need - my phone, charging cable, wallet, comb, hand sanitizer, a tiny notebook, and my e-reader. If this sticks, it will be a game changer 👜🚫
I've arranged displays around my living room for productivity reasons ![]()
I like using the extra monitor on a table instead of being the main focus. I set up this system to be as modular as possible due to it needing to move around a lot.
I'm like a fine mullet right now. I also have my travel monitor and Switch are behind the couch, allowing me to slorp into a cushion environment and sit however I need. Below that is a shelf of my meds.
Conversion therapy
ABA therapy, a therapy still predominantly used for autistic children in the USA and other countries to this day, was created by the same man who invented gay conversion therapy. What does that tell you?

It's such a joy to see trans people existing and doing normal things #Pride
Somehow saying Biden dismantled the covid tracking system was read as me being antivaxx and spreading misinformation. It's wild.
hello everyone, I'm Puff! I just migrated over here from a different server. I've been on Mastodon since last November.
I don't think i'm that interesting ha. Well before becoming disabled I was in college and was studying film/TV production. I still enjoy parts of it but don't want a career in it.
I have a TBI along with a few other things so it's hard to do much day to day. I've come to enjoy video games, anime, birding, cooking shows, drawing (when I'm able) and writing poetry (also when I'm able). Some of my favorite games are Stardew Valley, Slay the Spire, Final Fantasy XIV, and Breath of the Wild.
hope to make some friends here! <3
us political narrative
So while everyone is jizzing in their pants about the Trump indictment, the Supreme court just voted 8 to 1 make unions liable for any expenses incurred by employers due to strikes. No one is up in arms about that around here, as far as I can tell, but that ruling is far and away more important, and more damaging, than anything Trump could ever dream of doing. In Atlanta, police have decided that running a bail fund is a form of organized crime, and the courts ok'd it. 2/
I struggle to understand Silicon Valley’s libertarians’ allergic reaction to discussing problems caused by the extreme homogeneity of the research circle. The same is true for many in the AI research community of which I am a part. As this thoughtfully written letter to SCOTUS from physicists explains,
The implication that physics or “hard sciences” are somehow divorced from the social realities of racism in our society is completely fallacious.
I post followers-only most of the time.
