I think the thing I liked the most about The Lamb Will Slaughter the Lion was how it reminded me of all the punk and anarchist kids I hung out with when I was younger.

I was never really a part of their world, more like a tourist. I was the college kid. The guy with a job. The guy who worked at a hedge fund.

My onions have started growing!

I just finished it this morning before work, and I am still sort of processing it. I think it's my second favorite book we've read so far after Annihilation.

I thought Uliksi was a really interesting presence in the book, and that he worked well as a way to explore the philosophy of anarchy.

I'm imagining that if I was more read on anarchist philosophy, I might have gotten more out of it?

Hello everyone, I am opening up for nominations for books for the August book. We still have a decent number of books in the poll but there's always room for new additions. I just finished #Sourcery. I've starting reading through #Discworld recently and this is the first book with Rincewind that I really enjoyed. #amreading

A couple of onions got lost in the back of our pantry and decided to sprout some shoots. So, this morning I went ahead and broke them up and planted them in the unused flower plot in the front yard. Now to see if they grow or not. #Gardening #IncompetentGardening
