Never believe its too late for you to accomplish what you want in life just because you didn't do it in your 20s. Becoming established that early in your life is usually out of luck or having immense privilege. The rest of us are forced to move a little slower and that's 100% fine.
It's wild how some potential clients want you to put together 'example' projects for free as a prerequisite for *possible* consideration for employment.
For example, I had a potential ask me to build a fully featured video player as part of an interview. I asked how much they were paying because that's work and I don't work for free.
They said I was no longer a candidate for the position b/c I wasn't a 'team player'.
It's wild how folks really just want to exploit and steal.
