It's weird how meh in American means indifference and in Swedish means indignation (as a contraction of "men åh"). And, the former is sometimes used as a loanword even here, but, usually clear from pronounciation.

@Sandra I had no idea about the Swedish idiom but I imagine that if someone said “meh” with an indignant tone it wouldn’t feel weird. In English I think the word is more about the tone with which it’s said than any etymological origin ya know? (Possibly created/popularized by The Simpsons?)
